El Valle, Panama

One day we loaded up in the car:  Trey, Courtney, Michael, Grady, Heather and I and we drove 30 minutes up into the mountains to El Valle.  It is an old volcanic crater and its so vibrant and lush.  A little bit cooler than the ocean areas.

A ruin in El Valle, Panama

You can find more information about El Valle here.  I got this verbage from its website:

“El Valle is a fertile volcanic valley filled with bright flowers, square trees and golden frogs. Looking into El Valle it looks like a huge broccoli field – most of the houses are surrounded by trees that make for a green and unspoiled impression. The temperatures are moderate throughout the year and it cools down at night.”
