I am really lethargic on this cloudy Asheville day. Despite all the coffee I have had, I am just feeling ultra ultra relaxed.  But that’s okay.  I refuse to feel guilty for just taking it easy on this Friday.  I do have to work in a few hours, but I wanted you to drop by my studio, so I can show you some of my paintings.

On these cloudy days I daydream of the turquoise ocean.  I enjoy putting a floppy hat on, digging my toes in the sand and swimming in the ocean.  I am in love with the beach.  Here is an inspiration that got me started painting in 2006 from a Vogue Magazine.  I love this model blowing in the conch shell in the oceanic breezes.  The model’s name is Daria and the photoshoot was in Hawaii.

And here is the painting that I did from this inspiration.

I have done many paintings since 2006 and will show some of them to you on my blog later on in time.  I love having music, painting and blogging as my creative outlets.  So much fun.

Happy Friday and I hope you have a lovely creative weekend…… CHEERS!!!
