Shout out to BFF

My BFF of 20 something years and I had a blast at BRTGOBP.  BLue Ridge Tribal Gathering of Beautiful People.  She and her family own the property in Georgia, that BRTGOBP is held. There is a 150 year old cabin on the sight.  It is so lovely and incredibly rustic.  I miss my Heather already sooo toooooo much.  She lives in Oregon and I am in North Carolina, but we still manage to be close still after all these years.  We have lived in Crested Butte, Colorado together during summers in college and globe trotted our way through the world.

Shout out to my BFF.

Fresh Salad from The Garden

Life is soooo hectic for me right now and interesting.  I have been super duper busy busting a move around the house, working my garden, traveling and doing my music.  My girlfriend from California is coming for a visit today and we are meeting up for yoga and lunch and then hanging at my house.  Then tomorrow I head to Ellijay, Georgia to hang with friends at the 21st Annual BRTGOBP.  BLue Ridge Tribal Gathering of Beautiful People.  I went there last year.

Here is a photo of the first salad I have eaten from my garden.  Chock full of radishes, romaine and fresh herbs.   I am pretty excited about it.  It is a goal in my life one day to eat off the land.  I think that would rock.

Everyone, have a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend.  Hope you have toooo much fun.

Cheers and Love,

Caroline

100th Post

I just can’t believe that I have written 100 posts on my blog.  That is so wild.  Thanks everyone for stopping by now and again and leaving comments and offering huge support for this project.  This blog has helped me out in so many ways.  I have put my life and my perspective out in cyberspace and I am vulnerable, but I just don’t have anything to hide.  It is fun and amazing putting my adventures and my obstacles on this platform.  I plan on continuing, so stay tuned .

This is my last day of rainy Asheville for a while.  I am hopping in the Snake Oil van to go on an 11 day tour through Michigan, New York and West Virginia.  I plan on documenting the tour, so this should be fun.

100 Spots on My Pajamas for My 100th Post

I have been frantically trying to catch up from my last tour with Snake Oil that landed me into the deep woods of Georgia to see my lifelong friends.  I loved seeing my friends that I grew up with.  My band brought a generator in and crossed over 2 river crossings and just rocked it in the woods.  Also I dipped in a hillbilly hot tub with my ladies and disco danced in the wee hours of the evening in the Cohutta Wilderness, it was wild.  Hopefully photos will pop up soon since I forgot my camera. Ooops  Ciao for now….
