Miss my Sis

My sister Jane is the bestest sister in the whole wide world.  I cannot believe how lucky I am to have Jane as my sister.  She is so beautiful, sweet, talented, smart and generous.  Wow!!!!!!

We are 10 years apart and we act the same age.  We have so much fun together.  I remember when Mom and Dad first brought her home from the hospital in a blizzard in Atlanta, Georgia.  I put pigtails and pony tails in her hair and dressed her up funny and took photos of her.  I took Jane and her friends to her first concert, The Spin Doctors.  

We almost got crushed while jogging underneath a fallen tree together in Maine. Jane also went on tour with Snake Oil Medicine Show for years and was our merch girl and part time clarinet player.  She also got to go to Jamaica with us.  Through thick and through thin, Jane has been in my life every single day.

Jane lives out in California and she is 3,000 miles away, but we get to skype each other or talk on the phone almost every day.  I just miss my sis soooo bad and if you are reading this Janie Lou, I Love You!!!!!!!   I am coming to see you in Cali sooooon…..

Incredible April Monday

I hope everyone is having a lovely Monday.  All the windows are open in my cottage apartment, the curtains are billowing in the wind and I have geraniums on the sills.  I am spring cleaning like a fool.  So, this weekend was a blast. Atlanta to Boone.  Tell you more later when I have more time and I will put up some photos as well.

Twittering News

I am just gearing up to head on a mini tour this weekend with Snake Oil Medicine Show.  We will be in Atlanta, Georgia tonite.  This is where  I was born and raised, so its nice to go to my hometown.  Snake Oil is playing at the Five Spot in Little Five Points.   Then on Saturday night we are heading to Boone, North Carolina to play a show at The Dragonfly Theatre.   I will try and post stuff on my twitter account.  What an amazing platform twitter is.  I mean Ashton Kutcher beat CNN with the amount of followers he has.  He has over 1 million followers and he is donating malaria nets in Africa.  Soooo coooool…….I am getting so techy now, as my friend Eli Bajalia tells me.  Ha ha. 

Anyways, have a fantastic weekend and I am going to leave you with a quote that I heard from Puff Daddy.  ”Congratulate don’t Hate.”   That is so awesome and tickles me to no end.

Mid Week Blue Hue

I had such a lovely time at the Grove Park Inn Spa with my friend Courtney and I will post photos on my blog as soon as I upload them.  Also I had a yummy sweet dinner at the Ichiban with Kevin and we walked over to the Grand Bohemian Hotel afterwards to check it out.  That place was awesome.  I would love to have a martini in the Red Stag Lounge one of these days.

So sorry I am not writing a bunch at this moment in time.  I don’t think my chakras are aligned, I have been a bit blue today.  I just need to step back and examine some things in my life right now.  Just reflection and meditation.  I love you my friends, family and fans I will return to my happy go lucky self.  But for now I am just chilling out trying to feel my emotions.

When I wake up in the morning it will be a brand new beautiful day with new adventures.

Spa Day for Free

I took a few photos with my new camera this weekend and it was so much fun.  I have a lot to learn with this camera but I plan to keep on practicing and shooting a bunch of pictures.

This Monday morning I get to go to The Grove Park Inn Spa for free.  I am going to spend all day there reading books, relaxing, swimming in the mineral waters, hottubbing under the waterfalls and dipping in the cold plunge pool.  Also I plan on sipping on some champagne and soaking some sunshine in.

I got a pedicure for the Spring Time.

 

I started some kale seeds this weekend.

My girlfriend Courtney and I get to go for free because last summer, she and I and two of our other lady friends went there to celebrate our birthdays and we got evacuated from the spa because of a gas leak.  I will tell you the whole story later on, but for now I got to go and get ready for a day off in paradise.   Cheers.

My Niece Has Big Hair

The weekend is upon us and I plan on going to yard sales, Short Street Cakes and to work.  Fun fun.  Also I am going to plant some seeds this weekend.  I will take lots of photos with my Canon Rebel as well.  No gigs this weekend so I will have to embark on other creative things.
